Ozone and Safety Information

Print

The ZONO uses ultraviolet light and ambient air (air inside the sealed cabinet) to create ozone and uses water to create humidity.

Ozone

Ozone is a colorless gas. The characteristic odor is often described as the smell of electrical sparks or lightening. The ozone decomposes to oxygen in the sanitizer.

Water

Water, a colorless, odorless and flavorless liquid is used to create humidity.

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

The MSDS provides information on proper and safe handling of the ZONO in occupational environments. The MSDS is not applicable to consumer use of the ZONO. We have included all precautions, health effects, and first aid statements in our operating manual and in our labeling on the ZONO.
